Famous XRP advocate ‘All Things XRP’ sheds light on Eric Trump’s utter silence about XRP despite publicly praising Ethereum, revealing potential factors behind the snub.
In an Xthread, the commentator asserted that Eric and the Trump family-backed crypto project, World Liberty Financial, has entirely snubbed XRP while focusing on Ethereum and Bitcoin.
Specifically, he recalled when Eric tweeted it was a ‘great time to buy’ ETH in February 2025. A few days later, Eric made some bullish comments about Bitcoin.
As reported earlier, he suggested that the market dynamics at the time presented investors with an opportunity to buy more Bitcoin. These bullish comments, according to All Things XRP, drove the price of Bitcoin upwards toward $98,000.
While Eric has been bullish about Ethereum and Bitcoin, the analyst stressed that Trump’s son has disregarded XRP. He added that Trump’s World Liberty Financial has also completely ignored XRP while investing tens of millions of dollars in ETH.
The commentator highlighted how the crypto project purchased around $48 million worth of ETH this year, with zero XRP acquisition. World Liberty’s crypto portfolio features major assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, and Tron. However, there is no trace of XRP in the project’s portfolio.

The community figure questioned the rationale behind ignoring XRP despite its payment utility and proposed inclusion in the U.S. crypto reserve initiative. He highlighted the potential reasons behind Eric and World Liberty’s silence on XRP.

All Things XRP emphasized that XRP’s embroilment in the SEC v. Ripple lawsuit remains ‘messy.’ He noted that the coin was labeled a security and dragged through the court.
Despite acknowledging that the legal mess has been cleaned up, All Things XRP suggested that the Trump crypto project and Eric might be avoiding the coin due to this regulatory baggage.
World Liberty Strategic Focus
Furthermore, the commentator highlighted World Liberty’s strategic focus as another reason XRP has been ignored, noting that the project is positioning itself around DeFi. They characterized Ethereum as a DeFi engine, Bitcoin as digital gold, and XRP as cross-border rails.
Therefore, All Things XRP asserted that since the Trump family crypto project is positioning itself around DeFi, ‘XRP does not fit that mold yet.’

Regarding political optics, the expert stated that the Trump brand usually backs winners and completely avoids scandals. The commentator suggested that any attempt by the brand to indirectly mention XRP might attract political criticism.
All Things XRP suggested that market dynamics might also influence Eric and World Liberty’s silence about XRP. He noted that while Bitcoin and Ethereum dominate headlines and liquidity, XRP lives in a ‘niche.’
Given Bitcoin and Ethereum dominance, the expert said it is “safer” to ignore XRP, especially if the project is playing the optics game.
Finally, All Things XRP noted that this silence might not be an outright rejection of XRP. Instead, it could be that the Trump brand is waiting for regulatory clarity before proceeding. The expert asserted that the Trump crypto empire has plans for XRP but has not disclosed them publicly.
