Expert Says Ripple’s Acquisition of Circle Will Drive XRP Evolution in Global Finance

Top XRP commentator ‘All Things XRP’ suggests that Ripple’s potential acquisition of Circle will significantly drive XRP’s evolution in global finance.
Reports of Ripple’s attempt to acquire USDC issuer Circle have been a major topic of discussion within the crypto community. According to reports, Circle rejected Ripple’s $5 billion acquisition offer because it was low.
Subsequent reports indicate that Ripple increased the offer to $20 billion. However, many experts refuted this claim, noting that the $20 billion offer surpasses Circle’s valuation by a huge margin.
Impact of Circle Acquisition on XRP
While Ripple and Circle have not confirmed the reports, All Things XRP disclosed how the deal would benefit XRP if it goes through. The commentator suggested that if Ripple successfully acquires Circle, XRP’s price will not just react but evolve.
Capture Wall Street Attention
According to the expert, Ripple already leverages XRP to move value at lightning speed via RippleNet. The expert suggested that adding Circle’s $61 billion USDC liquidity to RippleNet would make it impossible for legacy banks to ignore XRP.
In addition, the commentator emphasized that if Ripple completes the deal, it could inherit Circle’s banking partnerships and regulatory trust. They asserted that this type of trust would give XRP legitimacy, potentially attracting Wall Street’s attention.
Connecting Tissue in Value Transfer
Further, All Things XRP asserted that if Ripple completes the Circle deal, it will control two major stablecoins–RLUSD and USDC. The expert indicated that XRP would be the connective tissue between the stablecoins.
Also, All Things XRP speculated that Ripple could integrate USDC into RippleNet, which, in turn, would boost speed, reduce costs, and reinforce XRP’s role as an essential asset in facilitating value transfers.
Moreover, the expert noted that while Ripple’s next step toward the acquisition remains uncertain, they emphasized that the company wants to control stablecoin liquidity. This control, according to All Things XRP, would significantly impact XRP’s role in global finance.
Per All Things XRP, Ripple’s decision to pursue the acquisition of Circle shortly after buying leading brokerage firm Hidden Road is part of a consolidation effort, which would be powered by XRP.
Bullish Scenarios for XRP
Once the deal is finalized, the expert speculates that XRP will evolve from a bridge asset to a core infrastructure. They expect XRP to be integral in cross-border, cross-industry, and cross-asset payments, potentially changing its demand profile forever.
However, All Things XRP suggested that Ripple might increase its offer if the deal fails and put more pressure on Circle.
