Renowned crypto commentator Ben “Bitboy” Armstrong has identified XRP and Bitcoin as two cryptocurrencies that he believes are foolproof investment options. Armstrong recently shared his views on X, where he outlined seven cryptocurrencies that he considers to be safe investments. These include XRP, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana (SOL), and SUI.
Armstrong explained the specific factors that contribute to his unwavering confidence in these selected digital assets. When it comes to Bitcoin, he believes it is simply common sense to see that BTC cannot fail. This view is supported by well-known factors such as its appeal and prominence as the most valuable cryptocurrency, with a market cap exceeding $1.39 trillion. To put it into perspective, this valuation is more than half of the entire crypto market’s value. Additionally, more institutional investors are getting involved with Bitcoin directly or indirectly through exchange-traded funds.
As for Ethereum, Armstrong believes it will continue to have a lasting appeal in the digital asset space. It is increasingly recognized as the digital silver, closely mirroring Bitcoin’s digital gold recognition. Moreover, ETH benefits from similar adoption privileges as BTC, making it its closest competitor. For example, Ethereum has pending applications for spot ETFs in the U.S., following the approval of similar investment products with Bitcoin. Taking this into account, Armstrong confidently states that ETH “cannot lose.”
Armstrong’s confidence in Solana stems from his belief that the token is a favored choice among venture capitalists, often referred to as a “pump coin.” Additionally, SOL has gained significant traction recently due to the successful launch of various meme coins on its blockchain.
In the case of XRP, Armstrong’s conviction is based on the expectation that the SEC lawsuit against Ripple is nearing its final stages. He also sees Ripple’s eventual initial public offering (IPO) as having a significant impact on XRP’s value. In a previous commentary, Armstrong expressed his belief that XRP holds great promise within the current bullish market. Alongside Ripple’s IPO, he cites other supporting factors, such as the potential for an XRP ETF and the possibility of adoption by major U.S. banks.
Armstrong’s list of promising coins also includes SUI, as it is the top blockchain in operation. Additionally, he highlights Pyth Network (PYTH) and Ondo Finance (ONDO) as notable entries due to their focus on real-world asset tokenization.
